Parish Room

Withington's Parish Room is used for community activities and events, including Parish Council meetings, film screeningsyoga, Tai Chi and much more.

The Parish Room can also be booked for private meetings and events.

Recently completed building work has ensured that the building is fully accessible to all.

Booking information
It costs £12 a session, but for regular bookings a discount can be negotiated.

Preference will always be given to villagers past and present, but providing the hall is left clean and tidy and people are considerate of neighbours booking is available to anyone.

The Parish Room is supported by the 100 Club.

The recently deceased Fred James told us that the Parish Room was a former World War 1 army hut brought to the village just after the war by the vicar who also donated the land to the village.
