National Cycle Route 81 comes through the centre of the Withington. Thanks to the local network of quiet and attractive country lanes, the area is very popular with cyclists.
It takes around 45 minutes to reach Withington from the centre of Shrewsbury (less than 30 minutes if you like to wear tight lycra!), with more than 90% of the route running on towpaths, dedicated cycle paths and country lanes.
