SNCT AGM - 26 MARCH 2011

Saturday 26 March 2011 sees the AGM of the Trust at Wappenshall Junction.  If you are interested in a walk along the Trench Arm to see the unique guillotine locks, then get there for 0930 Hrs.  If not, you can arrive between 1130 and 1200 Hrs for tea/coffee and biscuits before the AGM starts at 1200 Hrs.  Lunch will be served at 1300 Hrs after which there will be a presentation by Tony Hirst entitled "Canals are not just for boats". Tony is a founder member and has lots of interesting photographs of much of the canal system and, particularly of the buildings beside them, many of which remain today. But they are now used for a variety of purposes and Tony may even be able to give us his views about the future uses to which our Wappenshall buildings could be put.  The day ends with tea and biscuits at approximately 1500 Hrs.  So why not come along and meet everyone from our near 1,000 members?
