Our Shropshire Link bus service is under threat. If it does not attract more passengers, it will be stopped as part of the Shropshire Council's spending reductions.

This is a direct service that will take you to one of the following:
  • Shrewsbury High Street,
  • the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital,
  • Tescos at Harlescot or
  • Sainsburys at Meole Brace

and bring you back again at an agreed time. It is free for Bus Pass holders. If there could be a group of, say, shoppers that wanted to go on, say, a Wednesday this could be arranged.

If anyone would like to coordinate a group trip of this nature, please contact me on 01743 709601. Click on the link below for further information.

It is easy to register either by telephone 0345 6789068 or online http://www.shropshire.gov.uk/traveltransport.nsf/open/D30581A9684196448025749F00488F76 (opens in a new window) and the service operates on Monday, Wednesday or Friday. A few people have tried it and it has been very successful.
